Original Concept

DESCRIPTION

A personal project of mine from back in 2022, fan art heavily inspired by Dark Souls and Diablo. I am responsible for all aspects. I really wanted to give a massive sense of scale and wonder with this piece. Super fun to work on these sculpts and the environment in general. Blocked out in Maya, sculpted in ZBrush and finished in Unreal Engine 5. Textures are mainly substance painter where I created several smart materials to give the sandy look to these pieces. I also created modular stair, rock and wall pieces so I could easily change up the environment to be whatever I wanted. I created the vines with speedtree and grew them around the meshes.
